About Us

Company of Engineering founded in 1993, technical successor of VEP Engineering and Processes.Our goal is to offer to our clients technology, through a personalized service, commitment to results, quality and client integration. Our projects seek to reduce environmental impacts and prioritize safety. Reunion Engenharia has already carried out more than 1000 projects, highlighting the Sugar, ethanol (alcohol) and energy from biomass sector. We also work in the chemical, food, thermoelectric power plants and agro-industries sectors.

Visual Identity

"At the time, I was looking for a name that said something more than a surname, as it is common in business. It was at that moment I received the news of the death of Mr. Emile Hugot. This man was the author of the most important and complete Sugar Handbook (La Sucrerie de Cannes). This book is the organized basis of knowledge about the processing of sugar cane. I was fortunate to meet him when I took a course in Sugar Engineering in Mauritius and for a week we were together on La Reùnion Island. There he could demonstrate the wonderful human figure he was, his love of the Island, his delicacy and respect in telling stories that taught me more than lessons. He was a short man, with a slight injurie in his leg caused by a war accident, but his manner of speaking magnified him. He was also a Mill Owner and a wise man. Their conversations overflowed the technical aspects and gained philosophical aspects. So I decided to give the name of Reunion Engenharia to my company in his honor. The new Reunion logo is an icon, based on the Reunion Island flag, further strengthening ties with our origin ". (Tercio Dalla Vecchia).

Our projects are characterized by:

     Technical presentation - The project is divided in documents that allow the perfect organization of the files, easy location with clarity and simplicity of the texts. We use softwares specialized in documentation organization and management..

      Quality - Quality is guaranteed by the great experience and outstanding technical-scientific background of our technical department and the management of all information. We also have several control mechanisms at all stages of the project.

      Customer integration - In our projects, the customer actively participates in all the steps of its execution. In this way, all solutions are compatible with the technical and economic reality of the client.

      Deadlines - Obedience to deadlines is part of our culture, whose control is done daily and the client can follow step by step the execution of the projects.

Reunion Engenharia operates in the sugar and ethanol markets (accounts for 90% of revenues), agroindustrial, chemical, food, thermal power plants and solar energy.

Tercio Marques Dalla Vecchia

Chemical Engineer (USP, 76) and post graduate in Sugar Technology (Mauritius, 77).

He worked at the Copersucar, Brasálcool and Itamarati Sugar Mill.

He was the founder of VEP Engenharia (1984) and the Reunion Engenharia (1993). More than 1000 projects were executed by both companies.

Various courses and conferences in Brazil and abroad as teacher and/or panelist.

Former teacher responsible for the discipline "Project of Industrial Installations" of the School of Engineering Mauá for 6 years.

Jorge Luiz Scaff
Mechanical engineer (Mauá 84), post-graduate in Agribusiness (UFSCar 2002), has several specialization courses. Worked at VEP Engenharia e Processos where he started as a trainee and became an Engineering Manager. He also worked as a trainee at the Alvorada Distillery and Regional Cooperative of the Coffee Growers where he participated effectively in projects to reduce production costs. Fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. Founder and Managing Partner of Reunion.

Chemical Engineer (Polytechnic School of São Paulo - 2009), post-graduate in business management - FIA, Fundação Instituto de Administração, 2013. Partner and Director of Reunion.

Food Engineer (MAUÁ -2003), postgraduate in Sugar Process Engineering (Audubon - Louisiana - USA - 2005), master in engineering of biochemical processes by Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia - SP.
